Goa Trip | My journey as Intern ‚Äď Part 2

In last blog, I said that we¬†got something to enjoy in company besides work . So here is what was¬†happened next. As¬†my friend is so-called ‘dude’ type so he was going to ask her for a date but problem was we do not want this to¬†affect our company as now we are also part of it :). As he want to know more about her so first of all we¬†searched her on FB¬†and met other people in CIBA from whom we came up with our first plan. It was that she knows Goa Local language best, so he asked her to taught her that and you will not believe she said¬†Yes. Then eyes met, smile passed and then came a day when my bro was sitting with her in bus and¬†talking about various thing like where she live :D. It was his plan only, he wanted to know her home address so he went from¬†same bus from which she was used to go to¬†home. As he was scared so he didn’t accompany her till her stop.

Goa Trip | My journey as Intern – Part 1

I had a wonderful experience last month as GIS Technology intern¬†at¬†Transerve Technologies¬† in Goa. When I got selected I was very happy¬†as company was best in GIS application and moreover location happened to be Goa – a place where everyone wants to go and I would be¬†going for 2 months and fully paid ūüėÄ .

Here I will take you through various phases of me in Goa as¬†wanderlust, love guru and yeah as intern too ūüėõ

Firstly I want to share some Goa pics and a video captured during monsoon season Рfree of crowd, full of  greenery, easy bargains and where you can easily drench in unexpected shower.

Power of Spatially-enabled big data

What is a Map ?

Map is not just a piece of paper. It is a symbolic depiction highlighting relationships between elements of space Рit can be you,me or distant star on the space map.

As we know our Universe¬†is big, so is the data. That is why ¬†Spatially-enabled big data on a map¬†has the power to¬†allow you to answer questions and ask new ones like ‘¬†Where are disease outbreaks occurring?’, ‘Where is insurance risk greatest given recently updated population shifts’ ? and much more.

As map is link to various sector of society like defence, spread of disease, wildlife conservation, disaster alerts, economics etc. So now come the responsibility to use the map fully with big data.
